Default VNE Engine Mounts

Hope all is good...

Trying to get some engine mounts and surprised how much the price increased!

Saw a pair of VNE brand. FCP states it is OE (not OEM) part.

Anyone tried or can confirm this?

TIA

I installed them last year. I bought them too because FCP was showing them as the OE supplier. The quality seems to be the same and no issues.

Thanks for the info. It looks different though, I wish FCP can confirm that its actually an OE part (and not OEM) lol.

I installed them on my '08 4S a weeks ago. 1 week doesn't tell me much but so far so good. I just couldn't see paying the big money for a part that is basically a regular maintenance part and will fail in relatively short order anyway.

Curious now, I wonder which brand makes the engine mounts for POR company. My research tells me that no one knows LOL.

Just replaced original mounts with VNE - what’s strange is that the top of the mount looks different. It’s not a metal cap but rubber instead. Will take photos tomorrow but wondering if this is the same for others that got VNE.

Installed VNE engine mounts a few months ago to replace worn OEM ones on my 997.2 c2 coupe. Feels exactly as it should, OEM, no increases in NVH or stiffness. Would recommend.
