Stopped in to see if anybody could give me some insight on a vehicle. Currently working on a 2006 Porsche Cayenne S. I have some problems with messages of PSM failure and ABS issues. Computer readout shows problems with the lateral acceleration sensor and ROT sensor. For the life of me I have been through dozens of forums and can't seem to locate there whereabouts. I've looked under both drivers and passenger seats. I've looked under the carpeting on both sides. The live data shows these two sensors giving sporadic readings. It may be due to the PSM but wanted to locate the sensors just to make sure they're not causing an issue. Codes I'm getting are :
4401 lateral acceleration sensor line fault
4421 rate of turn sensor line fault
4400 lateral acceleration sensor faulty
C202 fault, PSM control unit ( Display)
If anybody has had any experience with these issues I would greatly appreciate any help

Still searching for this. According to a few onl ok ne sites the car is equipped with two acceleration sensors. And I believe the ROT sensor is somewhere along the steering column. When I eventually find them I'll give an update
Just wanted to give an update. The acceleration sensors/crash sensors / impact sensors are located under the front bumper. You have to remove the bumper to get to them. They are mounted right underneath the headlights on a metal shelf upside down
