Ok, I need some input.
It’s from the vent line coming unplugged. So mad and frustrated. Took the boys and I about 4 hours to get it relatively clean.
Already started eating through the battery tray and took off some of the paint too.
Ordered a new battery trey and parts and going to a AGM battery.
My question is: do I need to do more cleaning or something to the paint so it won’t rust? I have no experience here so asking you guys what you think?

I still see some white residue. Dissolve a box of baking soda into hot water and pour it all over that area. The baking soda will neutralize the acid. Leave it alone for maybe 10-15 minutes so it can work, then risnsnoff with hose water to get rid of the baking soda residue that would remain when it dried.
