Default Spring sack???

My 2010 C4S PDK is just shy of 158K miles. At 125K miles I replaced the front upper strut mounts. The front alignment camber of -.5 degrees shifted to -1.0 degrees. And my front tire life went from 40K miles to 17K miles.

Rinse and repeat. I just went through another set of fronts at about the same number of miles.

I requested a return to the original camber setting this time, but the setting was already as tight as it would go. The car also measures as lower.

So is this spring sack, or something to do with the new strut mounts?

I've been planning on going to B16s but won't be doing that for a while. When I do go there, I'll lower the car. So I'm thinking about adding an adjustable camber plate now as stage one of a suspension rebuild.

Does anyone have thoughts on the best adjustable camber plate? Would this space out the strut and raise the car?

Any other thoughts, ideas, or suggestions? Treat me like a newbie!!!

Thanks in advance for any and all inputs.

The lower the 997 suspension is the more negative camber it introduces, it also throws out the toe settings.
So possibly a combination of sagging springs leading to increased negative camber and incorrect toe.
Unlikely to be anything to do with the new top mounts, though it’s possible they were adjusted incorrectly and set to maximum negative camber (ie fully inboard)

Toe in is set correctly (the same as pegboard set).

Lowering does affect camber, which seems to be where I'm at.

My thumb had an inappropriate intimate moment with my table saw a few years ago so for a while I was paying others to do my work. I didn't install the upper mounts and have been wondering if installation may be at fault, since that's where the troubles began.

You've given me incentive to explore that. Thanks!!!
