Default 3month roadtrip car prep advice- skidguard? PPF? rim protection? headlight guards?

Hey everyone, I just bought my first Porsche. Its a 997.1 Targa and I'm planning a 3 months euro trip in Italy with the car and wondering what prep can I do to make sure the car will stay fine even in bumpy Italian roads. I read here a bit about suggestions to do PPF, Skidguard, Rim protection, headlight guards and more. Would LOVE to hear what would you suggest to do ? Thank you everyone!

A satellite phone and an international medical coverage also a list of repair shops along your route

Front PPF and you will be fine. I find the Italian roads to be in much better condition than what I can here in the States... And 997 is a small car, you should have no problem navigating through some of the smaller villages.

There are a couple of threads on this site with extensive lists of items to take on long trips.

Two suggestions I had not thought of were AAA or equivalent membership, and credit cards with large credit limits.

You could also get the OEM inflatable tire, although go it takes up a fair amount of space.

I would also make sure your insurance policy has full glass replacement as i personally have dealt with pitting on long trips killing my windshield

The Euro Delivery threads have lots of info about driving on the continent.
I drove a new 2018 Macan GTS there on my ED and extended to 3 months with my own insurance policy after the one Porsche supplied expired.
Had 70% PPF installed the day I took delivery in Leipzig and headed for a month+ in Tuscany via Bavaria, Switzerland and Austria.
No damage whatsoever from the paved or gravel roads I encountered in over 4500 miles.
A credit card will get you out of most predicaments, except the Swiss and Italian speed trap cameras that are ubiquitous now.
Have fun.

Thanks so much, everyone for the kind replies! super useful! I promise to share more soon

Btw do you guys see any risk to damage when driving on mixed roads with the targa 4 ground clearance? i read somewhere its 110mm which seems pretty low and risky (:
