Hi I'd like to ask if anyone knows if it's possible, or has changed out Porsche seats that have the cooling VENTILATED option - with the tiny holes in the seat - for any 3rd party seats whilst retaining that function?

I'd love some Recaro's or some fabric inserts - but does this compromise the ventilated seat function?

I asked Gary at ClassicFx this and he didn’t really know.

I am guessing since our 997.2 seat ventilation is pretty weak/1st Gen, I would guess that you would loose most if it all functionality.

This is on my list of things to do, Agate Gray 911R inserts in my 997.2 comfort ventilated/ heated fronts and door cards.
