Stupid question alert: stuck in the snow
So go ahead and laugh that I got myself in this situation but my car is stuck in my driveway in an area I haven’t plowed. The front wheels aren’t turning. It’s a C4. Something’s broken, right? Because there are no errors being thrown.
I can look out the window and they’re not turning at all. The rear end just slides around. I’ve got all season tires, not that it matters when the wheels aren’t turning at all.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. I actually turned the wheels and checked to make sure the driveshafts were there and connected. I know it’s not an off road car but this is bananas to me

I’m by myself so let me paint a beautiful picture for you. Imagine a car that says Carrera 4 on the back spinning its rear wheels in the snow. The sun is setting slowly. I’m about ready to fall into the snow and sleep.
There’s only 3” of snow on the ground.

So.... while the disinterested front differential is a mystery, tell us of the brand/model of tires.

Early models are equipped with a Visco clutch
Later models with I quote: "electronically controlled centre differential lock for torque distribution between the front and rear axles"
