It seems Morimoto has recently introduced a new tail light for 997:


I've been thinking about upgrading to Depo lights for a while. Don't like the Spec-D design that much, and Marimoto's definitely resembles more of those. But they somehow look a little more solid than others.

Thoughts? Or maybe ordered already?

Will anxiously await the rear lights for my 997.2. Please advise if they're somewhere in your production pipeline.

 

Looks like mine have shipped. Expected Thursday 25th. I'm pretty stoked. Hopefully everyone elses will ship too.

Anyone getting Smoked? I'm curious how good the tail lamp lights up. I'm getting red for now but the Smoked version looks very nice.

 

Excited to see the results, and really hoping for a front + rear lights deal as 1800 + 700 + shipping + taxes to Europe is something to consider

Thanks for the pics! I’m based in Europe so I think there are some differences in our taillights. I assume brake light is red, reverse is white and blinkers are orange? Trying to make sure this will be legal in my country.
