Has anyone access to a wiring diagram to confirm which wire on a 2011 997.2 I need to tap to provide power for the reversing camera in the rear tail light connector?

If I am not mistaken it’s the blue black wire. I just did my rear camera install last week. I’ll pull the light out and snap a photo for ya in a bit.

Hi there

I certainly did, all up and working brilliantly.

i routed the signal wire through the large grommet accessible through the taillight housing using a fibreglass cable fish. It was the perfect thickness to punch a hole through the grommet and then pulled the cable through behind it. I used a nozzle from a tube of silicon into which I stuck the pointed end of the RCA plug and then taped it up. It slid through really easily. Then having confirmed power could be drawn from the Black/purple wire (pin 3) I tapped into that; found a suitable earth and bingo!

All back together now 😄
