Default Sport Chrono Dead

I noticed yesterday that the sport chrono display was not lit up. I have been putting in a new stereo, so it’s possible I could have done something.

What are the things to check?

Any help greatly appreciated.

one thing I would do is to check if there's still power on the connector to the sport chrono
look at this thread, it shows you the pin-out of the connector that goes into the sport chrono
you want to check ground, illumination and power

Mine doesn't light up unless I am using it with the lights on.

In my car (997.2) the light in the sport chrono came on as soon as you open the door
