This is 100% true. Personally feel the base 997.2, Aqua Blue, Manual Cabriolet with just 35K miles listed in Toronto for $50K USD (likely accept less) is a hell of a deal.

A friend asked if this was standard and I replied with what has been said many times in this Forum ...

Buy as new as you can afford.

Be patient finding the car you want.

When you find your car be ready to buy immediately before someone else beats you to it.

Pay whatever it takes since the purchase price will be forgotten as you drive it.

I speak with a bias (153K miles on my car) but personal experience tells me the .2 cars are going to last a lot longer than we expect.

Try finding a .2 6mt. I have people texting me all the time asking if I’ll sell mine.

This saddens me. I'm thinking about selling my Boxster GTS and getting another 997.2 or more likely a 991.1. These current prices are grossly higher than I paid for a low mileage GTS 6spd.

I like the Boxster but I just don't fit in it and it's not practical for a long trip. We want to do more touring and another 911 would suit that purpose better. I guess ill have to wait it out a while.

I said the same thing about the 993. I’ve been waiting 15 years ….
