For those who did the simple focal speaker swap for an upgrade in the bose sound quality, this is for us... I did not replace the center speaker and it was overpowering the rest of the front focals. So to reduce the output of the orig bose center speaker, I wired in an l-pad to it. Adjusted properly, It now sounds so much better. Tips:
center speaker is 8 ohms
lpad needed is 8 ohms
the positive terminal is the one farther from the terminal lock.
