I thought I'd try getting the stuck CD out by disassembling the PCM's CD player. However, I'm unsure what to do at this point after getting the PCM out and unscrew the 2 top and bottom scres (the picture shows the screws still in), and then what is next?

I have watched a video where he put a flat-headed scredriver to the sides but the sides on mine look quite 'permanent' or 'solid'.

Should I be braver? or is there a correct way to get to the CD player? Also, I'm not sure whether I can get the CD out once I get to the CD player, has anyone tried this before?
