Default Trying to determine what these are for-please see pictures

Does anyone know what this is? When I bought the car I found one of these on either side of the battery. I found the female end for one but cannot locate the other.

I found the female end for this one.

Looks like the female end for the first one is just above your left hand in photo #1. Sorry, Have no idea what they’re connected to.

Hmmm... I think those are the heaters for the wash sprayers. Not sure. I will check tomorrow on my car.

Peace

Bruce, were you able to check to see what those plugs are for?

Jim

Yes, those are the squirter heaters. In your top picture, Mr Dragon has it correct, the connector is seen there. There is one on each side. Why are they disconnected? Maybe whomever installed a new windshield or wiper motor didn't complete the work.

The socket is attached to the cowl... it is for your passenger side, but maybe broken off on your driver side. Ham-fisted tech I suspect. Not needed above 32 degrees F I suppose.

I did find the other connector and the connection point for the one on the drivers side so at least I have both plugged in and back where they should be. Thanks for your help.
