Cabriolet top replacement?

I just had mine done last month. Cost was roughly $2,900, parts and labor. Everything I read prior to having it done pointed to GAHH Automotive for the top, and their site has recommended/certified shops.
The shop I used did have an issue with the fact that the latch for the shell cover didn't have the "flap" on the latch. From what I have been able to find, that flap was only for the 996 and 997.1, but it fits the 997.2 and was only about $35...

In case anyone is interested, I asked
my trusted body shop manager for a quote.
He quoted $2,200, Wow…. I expected $3,000 ish.
asked if that was labor and parts…..yes
I trust this body shop in Houston, can’t believe my luck.
I will post photos of finished top.
