Default Plug and coil replacement

I am doing my plugs and coil replacements today and noticed when I pulled a coil out that inlet that the plug head sits into has grease on it. The new from Porsche dealer replacements are dry without grease. Does anyone know which grease Porsche would use on the coils?

Would a NO-OX electrical grease be acceptable?

Thanks
Walton

No grease is needed for a plug/coil change. I’d clean up your coil boots and reinstall them dry. Here is the page from the workshop manual to confirm.

The Beru replacements come with grease inside the boot of the coil packs. You can add a bit of dielectric grease to the contact side of the sparkplug (NOT electrode) but its not required or necessary. (Its supplied with the coil pack/plug kit from FCP).

I just did that job with the FCP/Beru set and I put a dab of dielectric grease just on the inside of the tip of the rubber tube of the coils. Remember, dielectric grease is an insulator, not a conductor
