Default Trim removal help

Hello all, I’m am wanting to attempt some carbon fiber repair but can’t seem to figure out how to remove the following door trim pieces (driver and pass side). You will see the cracks in the photos of the small piece I’m looking to remove. Any help is appreciated. I’ll update after refinishing as to my success or failure!

thanks!

you have to take the door panel off. they are screwed in from behind. the handle is in 2 parts that just snap together

I was really hoping someone was going to tell me I didn’t have to remove the door panel. I don’t need to repair the handle ourself, just the small rectangular piece behind it.
