Child booster seat with side impact protection in 997
#16
I looked up the Everett and the base looks as if it will work as long as the LATCH connectors can retract. Not as much side impact protection as the Monterey but that might not be an issue. Please post a picture back installed if you do go with the Everett, I think future parent Rennlisters will appreciate it. It seems to be a continuous struggle as seat models age out to find something suitable for these cars.

It’s great to have another option. It looks like the connectors on the Everett rotate and stow under the seat. This one has arm rests which is nice. The size looks like it should fit our cars as well.

Viaggio Flex 120 Peg Perego fits
The Peg Perego Viaggio Flex 120 was recommended by a fellow Rennlister and it works well in my Targa 4S and two boys ages 6 and 7.
Super adjustable and tilts for sleepy heads. The isofix latches are retractable and the narrow base fits nicely with the lower seat cushion removed.
Note the picture shown is fully extended and back adjusts for both height and width.
Bonus features include fold flat with carry handle for out of car travel or storage!

My wife is 5’7” and my son is 51” tall. It’s a snug fit now. When he is an inch or two taller, I plan to have him sit in the back without a seat so it’s roomier for my family. 911s are the best for families with little ones.

Agree that at 51-52” in height you are just starting to reach the limit for front seat adult legroom when using a booster.
My older son has grown (54” now) since we last used the booster seat and I suspect we will be reverting back to the stock seat cushion and no booster next month when the car comes out of winter hibernation, especially given his growth rate!
With the Targa roof fully open his head was just starting to contact last September, so we are at closed top rides only already.

Just adding another option into this thread. I ended up going with the Nuna Aace for my daughter and it fits pretty snug. The only complaint is it's difficult for her to buckle herself in with the arm rest. Unbuckling is no issue for her though.

This seat looks to have good side protection as well.

We went for our first drive in the Diono, and it was excellent. Very secure fit, nothing loose and my guy loved it. Excellent leg room with the seat backs and bottoms removed.
My only concern is the expanding 'wings' as you pull up the headrest - it's a nice, practical feature but the seat just fits in the rear seat tub and any wider would start to cause issues.
This is a good candidate for a 911, and reasonably priced around $300 with taxes. Thanks OP for the recommendation. And the color matches too, most important :^P.

After extensive online research I found a great booster for my 6 year old. It is the Diono Monterey 5. It is a perfectly snug fit in my GTS. I like the side impact body panels and wrap around headrest. My son says it is as comfy as his Clek booster in my other cars. If anyone is looking for a protective seat that fits a 997 well, give it a try. I am also using the seat protector from Porsche underneath the seat.

LATCH / ISOFIX became standard equipment for the 991-onwards. 997s only have an opitional front seat kit with airbag disable switch - hard to find and $$$ to install.

Burning Brakes
I know this is an old thread, but as it contains the Nuna, Peg Perego, and Diono I was looking at, would you guys mind measuring how far off the bottom of the pre-existing seat space the car seat sticks, so I can figure out which one has the least depth when installed.
