Porsche Regeneration Valve from Throttle Body for Fuel Vapor System
1999 996 coupe with 122K miles. P1124 and P1126 codes reappear after deleting and only driving a few miles. Car runs fine and no white smoke. I'm assuming that I have a throttle body leak somewhere. Thought it might be the valve that connects charcoal canister to throttle body. Attached a picture of the valve below.
My understanding is this valve would be closed at all times except when power is put to it. With a hand vacuum pump attached to either end of this valve, it will not hold vacuum. Should it hold vacuum? Could this be my problem? The vacuum bleeds off fairly rapidly. Thanks in advance for any help.
