My 07 convertible top is closed and doesn’t respond to controls. I need to put it in service mode to remove Smart Top module for testing. I have the front latch unhooked but I’m unsure of which way to turn the Allen bolt in the rear to open the roof. The owners manual says to turn it counter clockwise to raise the clamshell if you want to close a roof that is stuck open. It doesn’t address a roof that won’t open. I imagine they assume one would take it to the dealership. The rear windows won’t roll down either. I know to select rear windows before trying to lower them.
