Default Clutch pedal Squeak!

Recently changed my clutch, and now this annoying squeak.
Can't figure out where it's coming from.

See video.

Here is the clutch master cylinder from inside the frunk area, should I replace the master cylinder? Is there any DIY?

I had that same damn squeak on my 996 10 years ago. It developed a couple of months before I sold it and I never figured out what the cause was.

that doesn’t sound good. Must be away to sort it out, I believe it’s coming from the master cylinder, please help me out if you are familiar with noise.

Have you tried bleeding your clutch line?

Not sure if you have a .1 with a dedicated slave bleeder or a .2 with a recirculating slave, but have you performed a brake fluid flush lately? If so, what fluid? This can happen when non-low viscosity fluids are used.

Thank you guys, yes I believe there could be something with the brake fluid or bleeding the system. The car have been on a large maintenance service and clutch change. I believe the brake fluid is some kind of “race” version.

No problem.

If you do some searching, there are a number of instances with 997s and 991s running super blue/ATE 200 and having this issue.

It can be remedied with a fluid flush using an LV (low viscosity) labeled brake fluid of your preferred type. This is available from Porsche, Pentosin, ATE, etc.

If you have a 997.2, be sure to actuate the clutch to pedal “flush” the fluid since there is no bleeder on the slave.

I have a gen 2 GT3 and unfortunately not familiar with the bleeding process, is there an easy DIY?
