+1, ridiculous. With 130Nm/96ft lbs you are 100% on the safe side, no matter how colourful the screw is. Apparently they have changed the manual, mine doesn't say that at all. Exceptions are connections with spacers and, of course, central locks (!).

Hilarious, everyone bangs on about freedom and being able to steer one's own destiny.

Suddenly, given a free choice between 130Nm and 160Nm they all loose their ****?

I use human body temp rounded down. On all of my Porsches. Allows me to not forget. The extra 2 pounds is within the tolerance of any t-wrench.

That's in contradiction to what the 997.2 owner's manual says:

It seems the owners manuals vary massively! They are full of quirks like mine says the car can stream music via Bluetooth which it can't. It's got about aux input volume where another doesn't.

There clearly is a lot of variation.

You are right! I misinterpreted the translation and did not read to the end. The light greasing of the *hub* is described. In fact, the thread should also be greased. mea culpa.

Note though that there should be NO paste on the centering curved hub at all.

Does anyone know the correct value please?

Many thanks!
I've just rounded up to 100 ft lbs even and haven't had any problems.

Has anyone's wheels fell off at any of the specs mentioned? Your fine regardless. When in doubt, follow your manual.

I personally use 100 on any vehicle. No reason besides it's easy to remember and it works.
