When do you think Porsche will update website?
I know its probably a long way off but I was just curious what others think when Porsche will update their website so I can build my virtual Porsche 997

Porsche has a nasty habit of leaving the website hanging for long periods of time without updates.
That said, there will be NOTHING on there until the official unveiling at the Paris auto show in September. Expect to build one online after that.
And even then, it will probably be lacking the total list of options and available equipment, so you're better off deciding on what you want with the current list of options, then making a deposit at a dealer to get on the list, and build your car when your slot becomes available.
Don't know why Porsche is so behind the times with their web efforts.

Yeah I want some more updates too. I go there so often I got to fill out an online survey once hehe. But really, I check the press releases and there is never anything about concept cars, new models etc. Usually only stuff on sales.. typically explaining how the Cayenne is carrying the company now hehe.

It'll be a while. We're expecting our first examples this fall. So, if we're seeing the cars in October, they would need to be August build, which means we'd need to order them in June. That's when I would expect to be getting info about the new car. As for the site, I'd say no updates until July-ish.
