Has anyone used Millennium Tech for there Nickel Silicon Carbide treatment of cylinder walls? There web address is Millennium -Tech.Net. Would just like to see how the treatment worked out over time/ miles.

You might want to ask this on the 996 forum. I am also interested in the question.

I had my 2005 997.1 engine rebuilt and the company that did the work shipped the block to Millennium- Tech. Its been a year and a half and my car runs fantastic! I have not used a drop of oil. I am very happy. Nickel Silicon Carbide treatment is said to be 10 times harder then normal cylinder walls.

I have used them for several motorcycles and a polaris rzr in the past. They are very, very well regarded in the powersports world, and have been around as long as I can remember. I'd have no reservations using them again. It doesn't seem like there's too many places out there that can do the nikasil style coatings.

Thanks for the reply! I have been surprised that I have not had more replies. In talking to MT they told me that they have done work on many Porsche cars.
