I am a Korean who is not good at English. Please understand.

My 997 had a 6mt transmission broken(crack) in an accident some time ago.

I dropped the gearbox to fix it myself.
An additional problem occurred that the engine did not start.

As far as I know, it is understood that the engine must start even if there is no transmission, but is there any knowledge I am not aware of?

How can I start the engine without a gearbox?

Are you able to push in the clutch pedal?

I can't think of any other interlock to prevent starting.

Is there an electrical earth strap missing?
