Default My OCDs Kickin In Again! - Seat Belt Loop/Mount

Friends,

The seat belt loop/mount on my 997.2 has slight cracks in the plastic molding on both Drv and Pass as common in Porsche, Audi and VW. I know it works fine and you hardly notice it. BUT, time to time when detailing my car I NOTICE IT. I first thought about replacing the whole seat belt with some deviated belts (yellow or red) - but really don't want to spend the time/money for that and just want to fix the little issue. So today on a slow Saturday, my plan was to find a un-cracked donor loop/mount (as Porsche does NOT sell this part separately); slide the old part out, and swap it. Only having to loosen one bolt to free up the seat belt attached to the bottom of the B-pillar.

Anyone have tried this?

Just leave it? Swap the whole belts? Comments?

Thanks!
