My non-Bose amp is past its prime as evidenced from speakers thumping even when the radio is off. Who in the US has a good reputation for repairing the amp or should I buy a new one?

I needed to replace the electronics in the Bose sub on my cab, and found a number of good units on eBay at pretty good prices, I assume out of wrecked cars. It's a good place for a quick first look for various parts like that.
