Easier way to fill your MT
I got the plans for this little tool from the Infiniti G37 forum years ago. In Nissan's great wisdom they put the fill plug on the bottom of the trans so you needed their gold plated tool to replace the "lifetime" fluid....
It's a 1 gal garden sprayer, some 3/8 tubing (double check diameter) and a simple ball valve. It sure beats working a little gear oil pump while on your back! Fill the reservoir, pump up the pressure, open the valve and come back in a few minutes to check the progress. It takes about 1min/L because of the viscosity and the size of the tubing. Start paying closer attention when you get to about 2.5L so it doesn't start spewing everywhere. When fluid starts dripping from the fill plug, simply close the valve and remove the hose. The fluid looks black in my photos because I added a moly additive. I thought I'd share my shade-tree fluid pump with the forum - especially since I've gleaned so much from all of you so far.

The harbor freight fluid pump threads into the transmission hole perfectly and screws onto oem porch fluid bottles. It’s $8
