That was my experience also. 2.x exists but I’m suspecting they’ve had enough failed upgrade attempts (probably dealing with the 2003-era DRM on maps and other things, plus these things’ really old laptop hard drives failing) that dealers have just been told to forget it and tell the customer 1.47 is it.

Hey, I have a 997.2 C2S MY2010 but first reg late 2009. I have the NMAutomotove installed (yay!). My firmware is the initial version. I have heard that getting a PCM FW upgrade will enable better volume levels between NM Automotive carplay and the base PCM unit when running in normal PCM mode. Any thoughts on the ROI for doing this? It seems expensive, but I would like the total unit to be all it can be.
