Which Foxwell scanner should I get…the 510 or 530?

I just got the 530 and was able to reset the service light. I haven’t tried to pull over rev data yet.

Don't they both do the same? NT530 just supports more brands and models.

I bought the 510 because it was on sale for $40 off last Black Friday.

My dealer is 350km away, its super handy to be able to do stuff at home.
NT530, used it to reset airbag light, enabled MF wheel function.
Used the graphing and recording function to confirm failing HPFP.

Awesome bit of kit for the price.

From foxwellstore "NT510 Elite and NT530 have the same functions. Conclusion: Foxwell NT510 Elite has the same features, language, and vehicle coverage as NT530 , the hardware is slightly different, but cheaper and more cost-effective than NT530."

So NT530 has the better usability, but I believe both should do the same, if not, your software is not up-to-date.

I bought the 530. They just sent out another software update email. Updates for home screen and most models. I have Honda, Mazda and Porsche cars and all 3 have updates.

The latest release was supposed to fix the problem where you couldn't select any country alphabetically past "China," when resetting the service indicator. That didn't matter to me when I reset my service light a couple months ago, except that my car now spies for China.
I installed the update today, but have not yet tried it.

I got a 530. I have watched a few reviews.. for troubleshooting it is likely awesome - and brake flushes.. but side markers, and seatbelt chimes.. is that kind of it?

is there some kind of a map of how to do all the stuff with it?

i’m surprised there is not a list floating around of all the programming things you can do with it.

Next week you will get a message on your PCM screen demanding a $1 Million payment to unbrick your ECU.

I have both. Respectfully disagree. 510 OK for what I paid for it but does not come close to my functionality of my Durametric.
