Default Question about 997.2 front splitter\spoiler

Has anyone installed the Maxton Design Porsche 911 Carrera - 997.2 Front Splitter / Spoiler?

I would love to know any first or even second hand experiences with the fit and finish of this product. Also, any thoughts on the look of a front lip on the 997.2? Does it add much to the look of the car, specifically with regards to aggressive styling? The 991 front lip that I have seen fitted to work on a 997.2 makes me question how aggressive this addition is to this car. All thoughts are welcome.

I have installed it on my 997.2 and think it definately adds a more aggressive front end look to the car. I got the gloss version over the matt, as for the fit, the bottom lip spoiler did not have to be removed and the maxton spoiler fitted right beneath it. here is a youtube video of what I had to do to fit it. video:

I've got a brand new one here if you're interested for a fair discount.

Thanks. I am still trying to think if I like the look. Is it just me or does it appear to be a bit big on the spoiler? Any thoughts on how it looks when on the car?

I think it looks pretty good, but I wonder how it holds up the first time it hits a curb or wheel stop.

Do you have a 997.2 with a splitter on it?

I have the emc2 front spoiler on mine. The grade break between my driveway and garage is so severe that it rubs a little coming and going.

Mine chipped and cracked after multiple curb scrapes and bumps (material is hard plastic). Definitely not durable as the 991 OEM front splitter. I ended up removing it after a chunk popped off. Really liked the aggressive look when I had it.

The clip below will give a good idea of why the OEM 991 Spoiler is so durable. We have some customers who scrape very regularly because of where they live or because of very low suspension and the spoiler can definitely take a lot of abuse. Plus there is no need to remove the bumper for installation. (note even though the video if for the 718 kit the 997 kits use exactly the same spoiler)

I like the "sequential" side indicator lights as shown in the video. Anyone know where they can be sourced?
