Hi All! It's raining in upstate NY so I decided to complete a task . I have a 997.1, that I installed a Macan steering wheel to. Both steering wheels are multifunction. The stock wheel worked with the stock Bose stereo system just fine, I replaced the head unit over the winter , installed a HUR 997 and Paser module, and the stock wheel worked fine, with all functions. I installed a Macan wheel and air bag, It is real easy 5 minute swap and has the same plug for electrical connections. The air bag is fine, no lights, BUT the multifunction does not work. After looking at wiring on stock wheel, the steering wheel module has four wires that are in the plug for that module and the Macan wheel has three. It should be CAN bus on both . I was going to install the original module into the Macan wheel BUT the muliti function controls have less wiring as well, and of coarse the control mounting is different. Anyone solve this??? I have a Craft build a custom wheel, so that is staying, looks great, but..well why not have it all work
