I have 997.1 with a sand beige interior and was wondering if anyone has removed the carpets to break it up.

I like how the interior contrasts with the black exterior, but it's way too much beige for me!

I have the sand beige with deviating charcoal carpets and lower door trim - it breaks up what would otherwise be a lot of beige. Sand beige gets a bad rap on this forum but as the weather gets hotter, and with a Midnight Blue exterior, the lighter interior is welcome.

This is a car I almost purchased before I found mine last minute.....this combo for beige interior looks great.

My car was actually optioned from the factory with slate gray floor mats and they go really well.

I have the black all weather mats in it year round since they are way more durable than carpet.

OEM sand beige sport bucket seats - not as originally equipped, but man, I love them in the interior. I've also got sand beige adaptive sport seats with painted backs stashed in the basement.

I'm all sand beige as well (ruby red exterior). Was thinking of Cocomats to kind of break it up a bit. No black anywhere in the car but seeing it has turned me to thinking of a black/red or black/natural.

That's what I did in mine. Not a great pic, but I really love how they look and the lighter color almost matches the sand beige perfectly.

Yeah. I've had two sand beige 997s; one with black mats and the other with matching beige mats. I thought the black mats looked really good. Plus they don't show dirt as much.

Mine is Dark Blue Metallic with a Sand Beige Interior. I ordered mats from Cocomats to break up the sea of beige and I like it. I have Cocomats front and rear and had them make one specially for the rear shelf (seat backs) since I usually drive with the seat backs down. I've got the same pattern as idylldon.

@hexagone I found this old thread while looking for inspiration for my sand beige interior. Do you have sport seats that you would part with? I have a 997.1 with Sand and would like the sport seats with the gray backs. Thanks for your response.

Love the Sand Beige leather, carbon bucket seats. Sport Seats with color matched hard backs are nice too, but I haven't seen sport seats with Carrara White hard backs & Sand Beige leather in the 997 forums. I've only seen something like that in 991 forums. I can never find Sand Beige leather sport seats with hardbacks for sale.

My car came with deviating carpets in Coco. I still did Coco Mats in dark brown with tan accent. The Coco Mats dark brown is a near perfect match to Porsche Coco.

I do like the cars above with the black upper dash, upper doors, and headliner. A great optional spec I wish I had.
