Just changed the brakes and rotors on my 997.2. I'm not a "handy" person but managed to do it with a few simple tools. Just urging the more timid members to try it as there are some great resources on the web. I used this YouTube video, but there are many more available.
Good luck

Congrats on getting hands dirty!
Good vid, hope he used blue locktite lol. Main issue with it was how clean his rims are

Thanks for the suggestion and video. I have been procrastinating (I need to do all 4 brakes), and this video is superb.
As a side question, what parts did you buy (aside from rotors/pads)? Did you need to buy new brake pad sensors, caliper bolts, rotor retaining screws, and caliper spring kits? Or are some of these re-usable (in the video it seems he did not use new caliper bolts or caliper spring kit)? I just want to make sure I have all the parts before I start.
Planning on getting new tires put on perhaps next week (going PS4S this time), and once that is done, then will do brakes.
