Will a 996 short shifter fit my 997.1?
Hi Guys,
Haven't introduced myself.
I'm a long-time air-cooled guy with an '84 911 Carrera, factory, Turbo Look coupe.
I normally reside on Pelican but recently purchased a delightful 2007 997.1 White Carrera S coupe with 40K on the odometer.
Per the title, I've heard great things about Short Shifters in our cars, specifically factory SS. Wil a 996 SS fit my car?

It should fit because people with 996 cars install the 997 shifter in their 996, which would mean that the 996 shifter would fit in the 997.
