My 2009 997.2 does not have iPhone cable connections. Bluetooth phone connection is great, however, would love to play music and navigation through the cars speakers. Any suggestions on how to hook up contemporary tech to a 2009 dream car?

 

Easiest / cheapest is a Bluetooth / Audio Dongle hooked up to the USB+Audio connectors in the middle console (if you have that)

I am using a Baseus one sourced from china, single digit cost. Look up: Bluetooth Receiver Car Kit Aux 3.5

Sounds like a quick fix... where does it get plugged in? Can you take a photo of where it connects ? Thanks

 

You need the optional USB/Aux Interface in the middle console, plug the dongle in the USB and the 3.5 connector into the AUX, see pic for the generel idea

 

Sadly my 997.2 doesn’t have those connectors.
