Default TPMS question

Hi, I took the car out for the first drive after winter maintenance. My tire psi is not showing up and the red exclamation point and low pressure lights are on. I may not have put the wheels back in the original locations. Could this have caused it? Im sure its been asked so apologies in advance.

Well first of all, the tires are directional and obviously not square, so you should have no problem figuring out which goes where. After that, I think TPMS needs several miles of driving to recalibrate. Failing that, yours may have given up the ghost over the winter. How long have they been on the car? 10 years-ish has been my experience with the batteries.

The Bridgestone S-04 PP tires I run are asymmetric, not directional. It is possible to put them on the “wrong” side. The are other asymmetric tires available in Porsche sizes.

Do a relearn on the system. The 997 can figure out if the wheels have changed positions.

Yes moving the tires caused this. Simply use relearning to set TPMS. I only takes from a block to a couple miles.

Thanks all. I'll try the relearn.
