Just recently purchased the car and someone at a cars a coffee told me it was a 997.15. I had never heard of that but I am a Posrshe newbee. Is this correct?

I believe I have heard that some late 997.1s got the newer PCM, but it was just something “I think I read” a long time ago. I’m sure someone with more knowledge will confirm/deny.
The 2009 911 Turbos got the interior upgrades of the 997.2 cars, but kept the exterior of the 997.1 cars, thus the “tweener” designation. They’re unique in this regard.

it still has ALL the .1 body - front bumper grills, smaller side mirrors and obviously the .1 rear end.
the .2 black center stack (+related electronics) - i also suspect the lower control module is the .2 one but with the .1 settings coded in.
