Default 997.2 | Eibachs | Bilstein B8

I finally got around to upgrading my suspension today. I went with Bilstien B8s and Eibach springs. Lowered the perfect amount (1.2" or so) and rides a bit smoother and firmer than stock. $760 ($570 install + $190 alignment) which was a decent price I think. Couple of pics from tonight.

I thought the Eibach was .8 front, .8 rear?
You are saying 1.2?

I think there are two versions of the Eibach springs out there, 1.2" and .8".

I think it depends on your starting point. For a C2 you get 1.2 inches of drop, for a car with PASM, as they are lower already, you only end up with about 0.8 inches of drop.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! No wheel spacers.

I was running lobster claws with 15mm/7mm spacers before I switched to the Outlaw 001M wheels.

I figured that I would wait until I got the new suspension upgraded to determine if I should put the spacers back.

Looking at it now, I'm not quite sure I need the spacers.... But I could be Swayed. Anybody with opinions, lay it on me.

Looks good OP, much less gap than the stock C2 height. Do you think there is more drop to come as it settles? May just be the angles of the pics but there still seems to be a good amount of gap. Almost looks like a stock PASM height but, again, could just be the angle of the pics. Do have any straight on shots down at the wheel level?

From those angles the wheels already look flush so no need to do anything.

@850tgul Eibach’s don’t settle.

They definitely could go lower and still some more gap. You are right - probably close to stock PASM. If I was picky Id say I wish they were just a tad lower but I'm satisfied where they are at for now. I'm just glad that I haven't scraped anything yet!

Looks great. My 09 C2 suspension is starting to get a little tired, did you need to install anything else besides shocks/spring (such as sway bars, end links, etc.) to achieve proper alignment?

I just put my B12 kit in and my shop had no issues getting a proper alignment. While I was in there I did replace both front and rear mounts, and the front bearings. I did not need any new drop links, toe links, etc.

I didn't touch anything else yet. I brought it to the best shop here in LA (South Bay) - Johnson's Alignment and they dialed it perfectly. Now, it can scrape a tad bit on some non-straight surfaces but not too bad.
