Default Anyone have experience with CONTINENTAL warranty?

I did a search here, not much really came up that was recent. I am looking at an 08 911 Turbo, 68k miles. I asked about warranties, they go through Continental. I am waiting to hear back on a price though for 3-4 years, but wanted to see if anyone has experience with them as a warranty company?

Thanks.

Had a full coverage $0 deductible Continental warranty on a Range Rover. They were generally good but needed some push back to get things moving.

Just heard back, they won't do the warranty due to the age of the car, but I can still look on my own. Going to check it out later this week if possible, out of state, so it is a decent drive....

Supposedly they offer five levels of coverage (but three are shown on their website...)

You would want to go with the Exclusionary coverage for sure.

If possible - would be best to get an actual copy of their contract which will stipulate exactly what is not covered with the Exclusionary plan.

Continental Warranty Highlights

Overall Rating 3.8 Reputation 4.5 Coverage 4.0 Price See dealership Transparency 3.6 Customer Service 3.2Continental Warranty, headquarter in Claymont, Delaware, has been in the business of servicing extended warranty protection to new and used cars for over 35 years. Unlike many other third-party warranty companies, Continental does not sell contracts directly to consumers. Instead, this company partners with select dealerships nationwide to sell coverage to customers buying new or certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles.

What Does Continental Warranty Cover?

Continental Warranty offers customers five extended service contract options: UltraCare Exclusionary Vehicle Service Contract (VSC), UltraCare VSC, Continental Gold, Continental Plus, and Continental Powertrain.

The company does not share sample contracts on its website, which is not uncommon for warranty companies that sell only through dealerships.

Well just talked to them again... they told me 2 year full warranty is $6000.... but it is refundable, so I could get it, drive it for 6 months, if all is solid i can sell the warranty and get $4500 back....

Which one of the Continental options is the "full warranty" that they've quoted you the price on?

Sounds suspect- did you talk to the warranty company directly or the dealer?

No it is legit. Caveat is, while the agreement is prorated, they deduct any payouts made from the refund.
