Sweet. I'm going to try the Magic Eraser this evening.

You have to be very careful with Magic Erasers around a car. My Mother-in-law used to park under a pine tree and one day we were over there to visit and she very proudly told me to go look at her car and see how well she had gotten rid of the pine sap with a Magic Eraser. When I got out there, she had ground through the clear coat in several places on the roof, hood and trunk.

Your comment above is good advice.

Used wet. Very light pressure only will get the more stubborn dirt and scuffs.

A good vinyl / rubber treatment used afterward will restore a uniform satin sheen.

just searched and I don't. the car is in storage. they cover and stick well. looks like carbon fiber well enough. worth the price and the protection. we used alcohol to clean the surface and a hair dryer for some heat. i'll try to get a picture when i can

Hello GTank, I was thinking of buying these and was wondering how well they've held up?
Thank you, Stephen

I’d avoid them…I ended up throwing them away after difficulty getting them installed nicely.

Scuffs can be cleaned off of these parts with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and water. Mine look like new when they've just been cleaned. I an't imagine alcantra looking good for more than a year or so.

I've used that product and it can work.

Caution - use it with with some water and use it gently on the surface. If not, it's likely that you'll go through the finish that's been applied to the door sill.

They are posted for a 987 Boxster, but the dimensions are the same for the 997.

Thought I’d share. I’ll report back once I’ve installed them.

GTank

Hello Hi
They are the same ??? between the Boxter and the 997
