Looking for a set of OE bilstein B4 struts in exchange for B6 sport struts…
I have a 2006 C4 and I have sport B6 struts on it that are maybe one year old (and I drive about 5000 miles a year if that). Looking to return to similar condition B4 or stock OE. Not in need of this level of stiff. I broke my back. Spinal.
Best way to get me is via pm pls.

They made the car handle great, but my herniated disc can’t handle it day-to-day and the roads in central Dallas absolutely suck. There is a reason everyone here drives an SUV or a truck. I’d say do it if your back is intact.
I have removed quite a bit of weight from my Carrera 4 and I have 19 inch very lightweight wheels, none of which helps for comfort, but it helps the bottom line as far as speed goes. I’m running stock springs after trying lowering the car as well which was a bit harsher. After looking into some very expensive Ohlins adjustable coilovers I’m gonna go back to stock or purchase an SUV. One choice is more expensive than the other.

I think you should consider switching to 18" wheels with 40 aspect ratio tires. That would soften your ride quite abit and still handle like a Porsche should.
I am keeping my 18" due to road conditions (metro Detroit). I installed Bilstein PSS9 recently, even at the stiffest setting, my car still ride OK.
Had 19" before and ride was way too harsh.
From my personal experience, switching to 18" wheels would give you more comfort than playing with strut damping.
I have a set original to my car, had around 50K miles when removed. Working fine, no leak. My car is Carrera 2 (I bought mine from Dallas almost 4 years ago and its always be stored inside during MI winter, so not rust). Check if they are the same with Carrera 4. You can have them if you want.

I have a set of factory sport dampers, with the PASM computer box I'd be willing to let go. I have full Moton club sport, so I won't be switching back to them. They have lowering springs on them, and I don't have the factory springs, but as far as I know they work fine. You can't have my button cluster though because I want the sport mode button for throttle response.
