Default Hardwire Garmin Catalyst

I want to hardwire my recently purchased Garmin Catalyst driving performance optimizer in my 06 997S. Any ideas where to pick up 12VDC near center console. I am thinking trickle charger thingy between seats but I am reluctant to tear open if there is a better option. Thanks

You got the the fuse panel right by the footwell. Remove the carpeted panel around the fuse box. Then run your wiring across hidden behind the cover under the dash, down the side of the footwell. Easy!

you could also wire it to the 12V outlet in the sidepanel by the passenger's feet

On the 997.1 that 12v outlet is always live so that would not work.
Cheers,
