Question Can anyone identify the mystery interior part I found?

I've taken my center console out to send it to Classic 9 Leather for refinishing... inside the cubby in the console I found this. It fell off the car at some point and I put it in there. Anyone got an idea of where it actually goes? I've got a vague recollection that it might have come from the cup holder but that could be wrong. The phono plug is just there for scale.

Any ideas appreciated!

Chris

Looks like part of the cupholder itself.. Does your still have both "sides" to the 2 cupholders?

the top item is a male-to-male RCA adapter, which is not part of your car.

the bottom item might be from the cupholder mechanism, or possibly also from someplace other than the car.

Just in case anyone else comes across this, I discovered what it was. It's the bar that controls the lower arm on the cup holder. Mine fell out because one part of the T had broken off but, as luck would have it, the other part of the T was still stuck in the lower assembly and I've glued it together optimistically.
