Default Super Cool Tools!

2009 C2S 161K miles

Wera.... yea, stupid expensive German perfection. But wow...... I just purchased this mini kit below..... I have a mini Kobalt kit and it just sucks... the bits don't stay in, the sizes are not all I need.... just crap. Anywho... Wera makes some really super cool tools. Just stupid expensive but, just maybe.... hmmm.... I ordered only the mini set below... but I wish I wish.....

Just go to Amazon and search for "Wera Tools"... some crazy-assed chit at stupid high prices.

Peace
Bruce in Philly

I just ordered this Wera mini kit from ToolDiscounters:

Howza bout this!!! A ratchet wrench that is also a hammer.... yes, that is correct! A HAMMER!

My buddy has a few Wera tools... he showed me one of their diamond philips screw driver bits... it has a fine diamond coating in the grooves to grip screws... unbelievable precision.

Look at this one! A self adjusting, ratcheting,
crescent wrench crescent wrench

Nice stuff.

Although most of my tools become hammers at some point...

Eh .... More gizmos ..... After twisting wrenches for over 40yrs gizmos no longer interest me as most fail after awhile or do not really do as intended well besides do you really need a hammer ratchet ?? WTF . On the other hand I have grown very fond of my Milwaukee cordless ratchets , screwdriver and impact gun.... Damn I love those things they are beautiful !!

the ratchet hammer is like the worst of both worlds...not heavy enough to be a real hammer, too thick to get into tight spaces, and would the hammering fck up the gearing prematurely?

I have a Rigid impact and drill also and they are amazing .... and Lifetime Guarantee ...Can't beat that ... 20yrs ago you would need to spend 4x that from Snap On to get a tool of that quality and warranty. I loved my 3/4 Milwaukee ratchet so much I happened to be at the Home Depot and Milwaukee was there with a display and I picked up a 1/4 cordless ratchet (for smaller and tight places)and the rep gave me an extra battery and a bunch of Milwaukee micro fiber towels. That 1/4 puppy is great for removing undertrays. I had to remove my front bumper to replace my horns this summer and I had the front end off in 20min with that ratchet , Perfect for torx screws.

I have the Hilti drill-driver and impact. They are bulletproof and strong. Love those too.I have to say that joker wrench is well engineered. I might have to get some of those. I'll at least keep them in mind.

My handheld impact wrench and drill are from DeWalt, excellent stuff. If you’re looking for more drool worthy German hand tools check out Stahlwille ratchets and spanners...

I picked up some Hazet Porsche Motorsport screwdrivers just because. NWS, Wera, Wiha etc are all top notch.

i buy a lot of tools on amazon.de .. Most of the time prices are much lower, and they also ship to US, with some exceptions.

Very nice but if a super bling tool set can help me find a 10mm socket that I just !@#$% had 2 mins ago, then I'll pay the extra money.

I'm with the others, Craftsman lifetime warranty, Milwaukee, Makita power tools and HF for the misc cheap sh*t.

I keep that first little Wera toolkit in my glovebox...yeah it's overpriced, but clutch and very small...when I drove my 911 an hour north to put away for the winter, I was able to get battery out with this kit...
