I park the car at the first snow and take it out when rain washes away the salt. I just check tire pressure, lock the car, crack the drivers window open and plug in my CTek battery charger. I get the annual oil change done when I start driving it again in spring.

Live in the north east in New Jersey and bought my first 911 this year. I’ll drive it through the winter as long as the roads are free of salt.

I use the salt on the road and the amount of rain after to decide if a weather permitting winter drive is worth it.

Have never used a stabilizer and considering it this year.

Any suggestions?

I use Putoline fuel stabilizer in all my vehicles that are in winter storage – https://www.putoline.com/en/catalogu...abilizer/7241/

Hey everyone. I am ready to take my 997.1 C4S out of storage. This will be my first time taking a 997.1 out of storage since I only got the car in July 2020. I did all the usual recommended things when I put the car into storage in early November. [over inflate tires, oil change, top up the tank add some fuel stabilizer, etc]I am curious if anyone has tips/checklist before driving the car. Do you do anything fancy like pulling the fuel pump fuse? I saw a
on your tube where this guy pulls his fuel pump fuse (@ 7:02 sec) and turns the engine for about 10 seconds first. then pops it back in and turns the car on normally. Is that a thing? I have never heard of needing to do anything like that.
Sunday is going to be a beautiful day here in Toronto and I am hoping to take it out for a spin.

Curious to hear what others here do.

This is my baby 2007 997.1 C4S 84,000KMs on the clock and many many more to come. Midnight-blue Metallic / Sand beige leather int.
