Install of Illuminated door sill guards
Hi, I have a 2009 997.1 TT and considering upgrading the door sill guards, as they are a bit scuffed.
Thinking about carbon illuminated door sills, but does anyone know if the wiring already exists there, or whether it would need to be installed (and if so, has anyone already done this? Cost estimate?)

I installed retrofit lighted sills made by a Mercedes specialist. The wiring runs under the weather stripping and up to the interior light. Install was simple. They've been on the car for 5 years now and have been excellent.
