I’m considering buying my ideal spec 997.2, however before i pull the trigger i want to get a thorough PPI and being in Boston it would be nice to have someone put some good eyes on it. Any recommendations would be welcomed. Thanks!

Callas Rennsport in Torrance is only a few minutes away from Hermosa and they are the absolute best. They are busy though, so it might be tough to get it in quickly.

I would also recommend giving the guys at Auto Werkstatt in Manhattan Beach. They're a 10 min drive or less from Hermosa.

I second Auto Werkstatt. I recently took my new-to-me 997 there for service. August was very nice and knowledgeable, and he is a 997 owner as well.

Henry at Iconic Motor Car Inspection worked with me when I was shopping for my 997. I highly recommend him if you're still looking for somebody. He has a background as a Porsche tech and he's mobile which is quite convenient. After inspecting what is now my 997 he wrote me a full report, shared tons of photos and shared a video that he took while the previous owner drove the car. He then took the time to discuss everything with me over the phone to the point where I felt comfortable agreeing to buy the car without having seen it myself.
