Here are a couple more from that area.

I don’t see any coolant anywhere.

Default Went under the car again today.

Saw a small puddle again this morning under the rear of my car. Took some paper towel to wipe it up and it was pink. ;-). So not oil but antifreeze first sure.

Seems to be coming from the lower bolt on this small cover near the timing chain tensioner. Does anyone know what that cover is covering? Should there be water behind it? If not from there, then is coming from that small hole on the bell housing right next to it. It’s dry right above that cover, so not dripping from above.

i took a good look at my expansion tank and below it, don’t see any trace of leakage there. Not sure where else the antifreeze is coming from.

Here are some picks.

Also, is there a good place online to see the engine parts in an exploded view? ;/). Like up above in this post.

Thanks.

Default Found the part number.

Found an exploded view of an engine online. Found what looked like the part I think is leaking. Found on another forum a guy with the same problem. Supposedly this cap houses coolant. Assume my seal is toast on mine.

Going to order a new one. Just wondering if I will lose a bunch of coolant if open it up to replace?

Has anyone had to ever replaced this part?

Thanks Jchapura.....

Were you able to just top up the lost fluid? Or did you need to vacuum pump in new coolant afterwards. I am worried the entire block will drain out of fluid? Don't want any vapor issues in the coolant afterwards,,,,

Thanks.

You will have to drain and vaclift the system- sorry its the only way to do it right.

You're welcome.
I have an airlift too but judged the situation needing just top-ups via the "burping" method. Can't go wrong with the airlift though.
