Default Passenger Window Issue

Friends,

Having a problem with my passenger window and hoping for an (easy) solution.

Some quick background: I'd been having problems where the window wouldn't go up or down when someone grabbed the handle (inside or outside). Then one day it went all the way down and wouldn't come back up.

I had a local mechanic install a new regulator (not Porsche experienced although reputable, it stopped working far from home) which I was able to source.

Good news is it's working, and going up/down as designed when you grab the handle (inside or outside). Bad news is the window's not going all the way down (see below) which is annoying. The mechanic said he couldn't figure it out but didn't want to force anything (which I appreciate). I tried the hold it up for 20 seconds to try and get it to reset etc but no go.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated, particularly if a DIY-solution is available.

Thanks!

On my 996 there was a stop in the regulator that had to be removed to get the full travel. I pulled the panel and removed the stop and all was well.
